The Industry (A debate most producer/dj's have)
The industry has become a shallow pit where money rules and the basis of music is forgotten, the only advice I have for any aspiring dj/producer is that if you work hard at perfecting your craft and creating your own unique sound, people will notice. As it has been reiterated so many times, yes there is an influx of dj’s and producers but if you make or play music from the heart and don't follow trends, you will create a niche market for yourself.
I believe that we all going to get our chance at proving what we’re made of, but I cant stress enough how important it is to invest in what you do, whether it be going on a sound engineering or music course but do what you can to empower yourself and acquire a skill that will sets you apart from the rest.
